Terms of use

The rules for using this website, written to be read. The one-line summary: the site is general information, not advice; real engagements run on written agreements; and nothing here touches your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Last updated 1 September 2026

B-1Agreement

By using blinco.tech ("the site") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms cover the website only; software projects, support arrangements and any other services are governed by their own written agreements, which prevail over anything here.

B-2What the site is

The site is operated by Blinco Technologies ("Blinco", "we", "us"). It describes what Blinco builds, models costs in general terms, and publishes research notes. All of it is general information. The cost figures are indicative: price bands and vendors' listed prices at the dates shown; the research notes describe our own experiments; none of it is financial, legal or professional advice for your situation. Decisions about your business deserve arithmetic done on your actual numbers, which is what a scope conversation is for.

B-3The demonstration designs

The designs section contains demonstration websites for fictional businesses, created to show design capability. The businesses named there (including Arcfield Electrical, Marlowe & Frost, Corridor Freight Co., Copperline Plumbing & Gas and Understory Landscapes) do not exist; their contact details are inert; any resemblance to a real trading entity is coincidental. The demos may include stock photography credited where its licence requires.

B-4Intellectual property

The Blinco and Blinco Technologies names, the wordmark and its blade-extended N, the site's text, drawings, figures and code are ours. You may read, link to, quote reasonably with attribution, and view source; you may not pass our work off as yours, scrape the site into a competing service, or use the mark in a way that suggests affiliation. Research notes may be shared freely with attribution.

B-5Acceptable use

Do not attack the site, probe it for vulnerabilities without asking first, flood it, or use it to distribute anything malicious. If you find a security problem, please tell us at hello@blinco.tech. Good-faith reports are welcome.

B-6Warranties and liability

The site is provided as-is. We work to keep it accurate and available but do not warrant that it is error-free, uninterrupted, or that its general information suits your circumstances. To the extent permitted by law, Blinco Technologies excludes liability for loss arising from reliance on the site's content or from its unavailability.

The carve-out that matters: nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), including the Australian Consumer Law, or any other right that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where liability can be limited but not excluded, it is limited to re-supplying the relevant service or the cost of re-supply.

B-7External links

The site links to external resources (for example the OAIC, and photography sources credited in the demos). We do not control them and linking is not endorsement.

B-8Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the current version lives at this address with its date above. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia and of the state or territory in which Blinco Technologies principally operates, and disputes belong to the courts with jurisdiction there.
